With a view to promote Quality Higher Education in the rural area of Bhusawal Tahasil of Jalgaon District (earlier known as East Khandesh), Tapti Education Society has been promoted by social workers and Philanthropist way back in 1958. The Bhusawal Arts, Science and P.O.Nahata Commerce College, Bhusawal has been established in 1963. The college is committed to    “ Excellence in Higher Education to Empower Youth - with Modern Views, Foresight and Global Competency along with Social Commitment - for Nation Building”. The college is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.

Over a period of time the college has made a remarkable contribution in imparting Quality Higher Education for uplifting different sections of the society surrounded by rural and agricultural background.

Wide range of courses, dedicated experienced research oriented faculty, well developed infrastructure, a rich academic and cultural ambience, enriched library, well developed modern laboratories, Modern student centric teaching learning methods, social commitment, enrich student support services are some of the prominent features of the college. All efforts are targeted towards all-round development of the students to create quality human resources with modern views and foresight for nation building.

It is matter of pride that the college is the first institute in North Maharashtra which volunteered for accreditation by NAAC. The college is accredited by NAAC in 2001 at four star (* * * *) level. The peer team has observed that- The college has all necessary ingredients and potential to become a leading institution in Maharashtra . The college is well aware that quality is not the destination rather a journey towards achieving excellence in Higher Education for nation building. The college has recently submitted Re-Accreditation Report to the NAAC.The college got 'A' Grade CGPA 3.28.
